Gold, Brass and Silver tarnish fast, a never ending polishing process, especially on items you use or touch. Unless you use metalwax

Here's why.

Other products do not clean below the surface where the corrosion starts.  Most sell you a paste that you rub on the surface to make the metal shine.  In reality it's a compound that wears off the surface so new metal will show and shine.  Dip type cleaners are corrosives that dissolve the corrosion and remove a small part of the surface which, when exposed to air, the shine is gone.  We call this shine decay.

METAL WAY IS DIFFERENT

HERE'S WHY

Metal Wax is a soft Wax Gel

First, we give you a cleaner for your metal.  You can't polish dirty metal.  Even if you just washed your gold or silver it has soap stuck in the pores below the surface.  Our exclusive fluoride metal cleaner is safe to use on any gold or silver.   The cleaner reacts with the soap and dirt below the surface to remove tarnish instantly so the metal is totally clean, even below the surface.  The cleaner opens the pores of the metal. Next you apply our wax sealer.  It is food safe USDA grade A-7 wax.  The same wax used to coat pharmaceutical medicine.  The wax fills the pores and seals your metal.  The wax dries hard with a protective wax coating locked on below the surface.  Soap, finger oils, body oils won't penetrate the clean clear wax finish.  Your metal remains clean, soap will not remove the wax.  You can wash the metal without fear of shine decay

The above drum cymbals are made of a beryllium alloy which is very hard. Polishing them with Metal Wax is easy and  long lasting.

To polish a cymbal like this, first clean then polish the bottom, go with the groves around not straight across. Polish half of the surface at a time. Polish the top last. Add more coats of Metalwax for more depth and intense shine. You only clean it once, then add your coats of Metalwax for the final finish.

Any cymbal will produce a mirror finish with metalwax

The photo of this brass pipe shows how much you can restore brass. This demo pipe was refinished in 2 minutes using the cleaner first, then apply Metalwax to 0000 grade steel wool to polish the Brass.

This process works very fast for large pieces of brass. All stains are removed and you have a perfect new finish with no hairline scratches. Metalwax gives extreme shine time performance, even for brass that is handled every day.

Ideal for Brass door lock and handle plates, knobs, fixtures, frames, bells, rails in home, commercial, industrial applications.

IDEAL FOR HOME POLISHING POLISHING PROJECTS

You probably have some silver that looks just like the pitcher on the left. It seems to be the natural state for silver, untill you polish with Metalwax. It removes really bad stains without scratching the surface, because it is ultra smooth wax. It won't dry out on the surface while your working with it, which means you can polish more surface faster with less effort.

The above photo shows a brass wall decor plate that is a 4 foot circle The shading on the brass is really old dried polishing compound that has filled in the engraving to the point you can barely see it at all. This is the problem on brass with fine engraving, the liquid polish has so much residue left on the surface it ruins the shine very fast and it is hard to remove.

These series of photos show a pure copper cut out. The photo on the left is how the copper looked before cleaning and polishing. Notice the stains in the copper. The center photo shows the copper after it has been cleaned with the fluoride cleaner. The fluoride will darken the appearance. This is normal. The photo on the right shows how your copper will look when it has been polished. Notice the metal has now returned to the lighter copper look, the finish is very smooth and all stains are removed. This is an extremely fast polishing agent. It has no compounds so the metal is very smoothly polished. Very glassy look. The metalwax series polishes, all leave a protective coating that resists fingerprints and corrosion.

This is the process we used to polish this copper. First the fluoride cleaner is applied and allowed to work about 5 minutes to penetrate the metal and remove the deep stains. agitate a little with carpet or brush, then wipe off with old terry towel. Next apply the metalwax and polish copper. Wipe off with micro fiber towel or terry towel,  Apply second coat of metalwax. Repeat removal and  apply Quick Spray Shine for a more glassy look. Rinse off with soap and water. Dry copper with micro fiber towel or terry towel. These cut outs are about 8 inches in diameter. You can clean and polish very large copper objects quickly with Metalwax. Even your copper Range Hood.  It's unique ability to be washed off with soap & water that will increase shine performance, cuts your labor by half or more over any other brand of polishing product.

The series of above photos show a hand hammered copper pot. It is 13x6 inches. It was found by a metal detector buried in the ground about 3 feet deep. We estimate the age at about 75 years. It has hammer dimples everywhere.

This is how we cleaned & polished it. First we dip cleaned the pot in the HP + cleaner for about 6 hours. this removed all the corrosion and dead surface copper without any effort at all. This also left no scratches for a better shine later. The shine was achieved using the metalwax gel polish first. This was applied with carpet & took three coats. It was finished with one coat of the spray on metal polish. Then it was cleaned with liquid dish soap & water to remove all traces of the polish residue. You can use this method with any metal. The shine quality remains in tact.
You have to admit it is a beautiful shine
The total polishing time on the part you see was about 25 minutes. We used this copper as a demo because it is so hard to clean & polish with other product polish brands. If your copper or metal is not this corroded you could use the HP cleaner available on line or phone order. Phone order for large sizes of cleaner

If you have questions on how to clean & polish a metal project you have call us at the number above.

BRASS-COPPER-SILVER-GOLD

The photos below shows the brass decor plate cleaned and polished. This is how we polished this piece. First, we sprayed metal cleaner on the surface with a trigger sprayer and brushed it all around to remove the old polish. We let the cleaner stand about 15 minutes, gave it a final brush then rinsed off with water. Dry the surface and apply Spray Shine to the entire surface. Polish with a a towel and nylon bristle brush till you see black residue & you see shined brass.

Wipe off with micro fiber towel  then use liquid dish soap & water wash off the remaining polish. Use soft nylon bristle brush. Then dry.

0000 steel wool works good on the outer edge of the waffle trim. Total work time on this piece is about 1 hour or less for both sides Use micro fiber towel  for final buffing
Your Brass is drop dead beautiful!
